The most common request for our industry is tree removal.
This includes removal of trees so small you can pick them up with one hand as well as dismantling large trees of 150 feet or taller.
We specialize in large trees
and enjoy the careful planning and execution of large tree removal in confined and difficult spaces as well as on large properties. We take exceptional care of people, buildings, infrastructure, animals and plants in the vicinity. We have an out-standing track record when it comes to safety and prevention. We offer our guarantee to you, the customer – see Guarantee – and this shows we are also prepared to put our money where our mouth is.
There are various ways to remove a tree.
The simplest, obviously is a clear fell if the circumstances allow it.
Next option is to remove some or all branches by tying them to ropes and (with the help of a ground crew), lower them out of the tree safely to the ground from where they will be processed through the chipper and turned into leaf mulch.
If a tree is too dangerous to climb we use mobile towers to get access to it and dismantle it in small hand held pieces. Also clearing powerlines can require a mobile tower since precision is everything (in some cases covering the wires with Tiger Tails is enough to make it safe to work around).
Yet another option is to remove a tree (or parts of it) by crane. This is the quickest and cleanest way to proceed with tree removal but normally is only reserved for large trees and dangerous specimens.
Storm-damage is also often removed by a crane.
What all processes have in common is the need to chainsaw everything to sizes that can be processed by our Bandit 18″ Chipper.
Although trees should be planted in appropriate locations where it is envisaged they will spend their entire lives, there are occasions when large and mature trees require removal. This procedure not only requires a sound knowledge of safety practices, it also requires experience and heavy machinery.
